Those illustrations are working for the fairy tale Hansel and Gretel. One of the illustrations is the book cover design for the fairytale; I want to show the excited and sweet feeling when Hansel and Gretel see the sugar house. Compared to presenting the main characters, I think showing their back and the shine of the sugar house could represent their desire for food.
another illustration is the repeat pattern design based on the fairytale Hansel and Gretel. I am thinking of applying the pattern on the inner page of the cover and back.
